I was walking around on the ocean floor when I came across a big group of sea bunnies. They acted a lot like cats, and I just kept picking them up, petting them for a bit, then setting them down so I could pet a different sea bunny.

this might be a hot take but i actually don’t think humans were meant to know what is going on in everyone’s lives all over the world every second of the day and constantly be available for conversations or collaborations or call-ins for work and texts and phone calls and social media posts without end. i think we were supposed to just help the people around us and spend time with our family and friends and eat yummy bread and berries and relax
I know that cis men are capable of being great people which is why it’s so frustrating when they suck. Your gender isn’t inherently bad at doing the dishes. You’re just a thoroughly unpleasant person.
When I started taking T I didn’t magically forget how to use a broom, which my single dad taught me how to use. There’s nothing about testosterone or having male bits that makes your brain incapable of comprehending super duper complicated concepts such as boiling water or not being sexist. You’re an adult. Put the curry in the glass container, change your son’s diaper, and don’t harass your waitress. It’s not that complicated.
It also frustrates me when I hear women say stuff like “You know how men are” no, I don’t actually. I know how your man is being right now and you don’t deserve to have to put up with that kind of behavior. If your man fakes incompetence when doing the dishes, leave his ass. There are plenty of men who don’t do that.
Just fyi, while JK R*vvling is trying to stylise herself as a martyr and victim of irrational hate, a young trans man actually got beaten to death at a German Christopher Street Day. Another man was harassing to women who were celebrating pride and shouted at them “lesbian whores” “fuck off”. A brave, young trans man saw this and stepped in. The attacker hit him in the face repeatedly after which he lost consciousness and fell. His head hit the ground hard, the doctors had to put him in a coma. He died yesterday morning. He was 25 years old, his name was Malte and he got murdered in a hate crime.
So no, JK and people like her are not the victims here. They’re the fucking problem.
